Military Ridge Trail Bike, hike, snowmobile, or ski the same trail which was used as an overland route during the Blackhawk War.

Downtown Area Designated as one of Wisconsin’s Main Street Communities, you can stroll through the shops and take in the breathtaking building facades.

Historic Walking Tour Designated as one of the state’s historic districts, the walking tour booklet highlights downtown spots as well as area landmarks. Tour booklets can be purchased at the Visitors Center.

Wisconsin’s Oldest Courthouse In Dodgeville’s historic downtown, the foundation was laid in 1859, making it the state’s oldest active courthouse.

Dodgeville City Parks A wide array of activities can be had at any one of the city’s parks including swimming, picnics, tennis and many others.

Lands’ End Tours are available at the corporate headquarters on Dodgeville’s northwest side. The outlet store, located downtown, is open daily.

Dodge Mining Camp Cabin, a log structure built in 1827, is open Wed. & Thur, or by request.

Iowa County Historical Museum Historic collections on display on Dodgeville’s north side on Hwy 23 in the replica of the Iowa County Courthouse. Iowa County Genealogy information is also available.
